Desert earth
The Erder desert , previously also called Erdere and Herdere and Erder , was a desolate place near Hanover . He lay west of the former village of Linden at the later Black Bear outgoing road to Wunstorf , one at grounding ford over the Foesse happened. From there an important historical system of trails led through Limmer to Ahlem , to Harenberg and with branches, for example, to Velber or the Holzrehre im Limmerholz .

The Hanoverian in today's district Linden-Nord lying Erderstraße , whose name was previously Eystrasse and Lotzestraße, 1925 was officially renamed "after the wild place Erdere that lay in this area."
