Wagner Complete Edition

The Wagner Complete Edition makes the entire musical oeuvre of the composer Richard Wagner available in reliable editions for the first time . It appears in the Schott publishing house in Mainz . The first volume with Wagner's piano works (Volume 19) was published in 1970 by Carl Dahlhaus . From 2003 to 2010 the office was headed by Klaus Döge . He was succeeded by Egon Voss .

The edition is divided into two series. Row A comprises the volumes of music with a critical report in the appendix, row B the volumes of documents on the individual works. The individual volumes contain the following works:

The edition work is funded by the Union of German Academies of Sciences, represented by the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz , with funds from the Federal Ministry for Education and Research in Bonn , and the Bavarian State Ministry for Science, Research and Art in Munich .
