Wagner Complete Edition
The Wagner Complete Edition makes the entire musical oeuvre of the composer Richard Wagner available in reliable editions for the first time . It appears in the Schott publishing house in Mainz . The first volume with Wagner's piano works (Volume 19) was published in 1970 by Carl Dahlhaus . From 2003 to 2010 the office was headed by Klaus Döge . He was succeeded by Egon Voss .

The edition is divided into two series. Row A comprises the volumes of music with a critical report in the appendix, row B the volumes of documents on the individual works. The individual volumes contain the following works:

- Volume 2: The Ban on Love or The Novice of Palermo
- Volume 3: Rienzi, the last of the tribunes
- Volume 4: The Flying Dutchman (2 versions)
- Volume 5: Tannhäuser and the Singers' War on Wartburg (1st version from 1845)
- Volume 6: Tannhäuser and the Singers' War on Wartburg (2nd version from 1861 in French, 3rd version from 1875)
- Volume 7: Lohengrin
- Volume 8: Tristan and Isolde
