The electoral district Krain 10 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian crown land Krain . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy .

history

After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . The new Reichsrat election regulations created a total of 416 electoral districts, with the exception of Galicia in each constituency one member was elected in the course of the Reichsrat election. The MP had to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency Krain 10 comprised the judicial districts Großlaschnitz , Reifnitz , Seisenberg without the municipality Langenthon and the local parishes Banja Loka , Fara and Osilnica from the judicial district Gottschee .

From the Imperial Council election in 1907 went Fran Jaklic out by the Slovenian People's Party as the winner. In the 1911 Reichsrat election his Jaklič was able to prevail again.
