Osilnica ( German Ossilnitz ) is a municipality in the Dolenjska ( Lower Carniola ) region in Slovenia .
430 people live in the total community consisting of 19 localities and hamlets. The main town Osilnica has 63 inhabitants. The municipality is the second smallest in Slovenia. It is located in the south on the border with Croatia , which is formed here by the Čabranka brook and the Kolpa river .
The house where wood artist Stane Jarm was born is in Osilnica.
