United States Elections 2020
The 2020 election in the United States took place on November 3, 2020.
The options were:
- the president and vice-president or electors of the Electoral College , see Presidential Election
- all 435 seats in the House of Representatives , see Election to the House of Representatives
- 35 of 100 seats in the Senate , namely 33 Class II seats and one by-election each in Arizona and Georgia , see Senate elections
- the governors (heads of government) in eleven states and two suburbs
- the State Legislatures in all states except Alabama , Louisiana , Maryland , Mississippi , New Jersey, and Virginia ; also numerous mayor and local elections as well as those of speakers.
