Wahles is a district of Brotterode-Trusetal in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen in Thuringia .

Wahles is located southwest of Trusetal in the valley of the Truse on the state road 1024 .
history
The village was first mentioned on February 17, 1185. The place belonged for centuries to the office of Herrenbreitungen in the Hessian rule Schmalkalden .
Wahles was incorporated into Trusetal in 1994 . After the merger of Brotterode and Trusetal in 2011, the place belongs to Brotterode-Trusetal. In 2012, a total of 300 people lived in the Wahles district.
