Waldemar Reinfelder

Waldemar Reinfelder (born January 2, 1965 in Fürth ) is a German judge who was elected judge at the Federal Labor Court on May 14, 2009 .

Life

Waldemar Reinfelder completed his legal training in 1994 with the second state examination in Munich. He then began his career as a judge in the labor courts of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen in 1995. From 1999 to 2001 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant . On February 1, 2008, he became a judge at the Bremen State Labor Court , where he was chairman of the 3rd Chamber of the State Labor Court . During his judicial work in Bremen, he became known to the public in 2008, among other things, by chairing the legal dispute between Radio Bremen and its employee Reyhan Şahin alias Lady Bitch Ray and in a dismissal suit against a works council member of a drugstore chain. He teaches labor law at the University of Bremen .

In May 2009 he was elected judge at the Federal Labor Court. On July 23, 2009, he began his service at the Federal Labor Court. He was initially a member of the 10th Senate of the Federal Labor Court since November 1, 2018 in the 4th Senate. He was also the press spokesman for the Federal Labor Court from 2014 to 2018.
