Waldemar Vienna
Waldemar Vienna (born January 11, 1927 in Dortmund ; † February 12, 1994 in Kierspe ) was a German sculptor .
Life
Vienna completed an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor from 1946 to 1948 before studying at the Werkkunstschule Dortmund from 1948 to 1952. From 1952 on he worked as a freelance artist. In 1966 he received the Altena District Culture Prize . From 1980 to 1988 he was a lecturer for sculptural design at the Music Center of the Ruhr University in Bochum .

Waldemar Wien created a large number of public sculptures and fountains. His son Sebastian Wien is also an artist.
