Valentin Andreevich Bryleev

Valentin Andreyevich Brylejew ( Russian Валентин Андреевич Брылеев * 1. May 1926 in Tula , RSFSR ; † 18th December 2004 in Moscow ) was a Soviet and Russian theater - and film - actor and voice actor .

Life

Bryleev was the son of the accountant Sinaida Fyodorovna Okunewa and the engineer Andrei Ivanovich Bryleev. In 1937 the family moved to Moscow. After finishing school, Valentin worked as a locksmith before he began studying architecture in 1943 and after completing it he worked as a design engineer until 1950. He then attended the acting faculty of the Gerasimov Institute for Cinematography .

Bryleev's acting career began in 1955 with a supporting role as a radio operator in the spy film Enterprise Planquadrat 45 . In the same year he was seen in the short film Новый велосипед ( Novy welosiped ) for the first time as a leading actor , his only other leading role was to follow in 1965 with Пограничная тишина ( Pogranitschnaja tischina ). From 1956 until his death, the dark-haired mime played at the "Moscow State Theater of Film Actors".

Although Bryleev appeared in over 130 films, he was known to audiences outside the Soviet Union primarily for his supporting roles in various fairy tale films. He was seen as a suitor in Adventure in the Magic Forest and Aladdin's Magic Lamp , and in In the Kingdom of the Magic Mirror he played a double role . In addition, he played several military members , z. B. in The Ballad of the Soldier , Строгая женщина ( Strogaja Schenschtschina , both 1959) and Морской характер ( Morskoi character , 1970). In addition to his work in front of the camera, Bryleev was active as a voice actor, lending Mickey Rooney in The Domino Conspiracy and Guy Grosso in Louis' uncanny encounter with the aliens his voice and was also involved in the Russian-language version of Der Hauptmann von Köpenick .

Bryleev was active as an actor until his death. He died in Moscow at the age of 78; his urn was buried in the Donskoy cemetery .

He was married to the epidemiologist Galina Vladimirovna Brylejewa (1931–1989), their son Alexander is a dentist.
