Valery Alexandrovich Korobkin (born July 2, 1984 in Volgograd ) is a former Russian- Kazakh football player and Kazakh national player. He played since 2017 with Kaisar Qysylorda in the Premjer League , the highest Kazakh division.

Career

Korobkin began his career at Rotor Volgograd , where he was active in intermittent operations until 2006. He then played for various Russian clubs in the lower Russian leagues. In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Kazakh Premier League for FK Astana . He won the Kazakh Cup in 2012 with Astana.

National team

After Korobkin took Kazakh nationality in 2012, he was appointed to the Kazakh national football team. He made his debut for the national team on October 12, 2012 in the European Championship qualifier against Austria .
