Walter Aldinger

Walter Aldinger (born August 18, 1904 in Düren , † August 21, 1945 in Odenthal ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ). He was a member of the Reichstag from 1933 to 1945 .

Life

Aldinger attended elementary school from 1910 to 1918 and then worked as a locksmith until 1931. During this time he was a member of the Stahlhelm from 1923 to 1924 . From April 15, 1924 to December 1924, he completed a course as a time volunteer with the 3rd Company of the 6th Motor Vehicle Department in Münster. On June 1, 1926, he joined the NSDAP under membership number 77,299. Shortly afterwards he became a local group leader in Bergisch Gladbach . In 1929 he became a member of the SA and was promoted to SA Sturmführer. From October 1, 1930 to April 1945, he was NSDAP district leader of the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

On March 5, 1933, Aldinger was accepted into the full-time party service of the NSDAP, a month later he became first alderman of the city of Bergisch Gladbach, and also a member of the district committee of the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. In the Reichstag election in November 1933, he was elected to the Reichstag for the first time in constituency 20. Aldinger belonged to this until its dissolution in 1945. After the Anschluss he was briefly posted to Steyr in Austria on March 20, 1938, and again on June 1, 1938. He was promoted to SA Standartenführer on January 30, 1941 , and was drafted into the Wehrmacht the following April , where he was used in the war against the Soviet Union . He was discharged from the Wehrmacht in the summer of 1942 for health reasons. In 1943 he also acted as a representative of the district leader of the NSDAP of the Oberbergischer Kreis .
