Walter Krögner (born October 6, 1963 in Salzburg ) is a Baden-Württemberg politician of the SPD .

Life and work

Walter Krögner grew up in Lübeck and graduated from the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences with a degree in forestry engineering .

politics

Since 1999 Krögner has been a member of the municipal council in Freiburg im Breisgau for the SPD . From 2005 to 2013 he was chairman of the SPD district association Freiburg and from 1998 to 2009 he was chairman of the SPD local association Freiburg Ost.

From November 6, 2009 to April 30, 2011, Krögner was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . He replaced the outgoing MP Gustav-Adolf Haas in a second mandate in the Freiburg-East constituency . Krögner was a member of the Economic and Petitions Committee.

He is a member of the board of the following organizations:

  • Tenants' Association Regio Freiburg (Deputy Chairman)
  • Protection Association of German Forests; Freiburg District Association (Board of Directors)
  • AIDS Aid Freiburg (Chairman)
  • Local association of IG Bauen, Agriculture, Environment
