Walter Kroker

Walter Kroker (* 1943 ) is a former district administrator in the southern Brandenburg district of Elbe-Elster and the old district of Bad Liebenwerda .

Live and act

In October 1993 he was elected to the district administrator of the Bad Liebenwerda district, where the previous incumbent Andreas Buschbacher had died in August 1993 . For the three years before, Kroker had already acted as Buschbacher's deputy in this role. After the district of Bad Liebenwerda with the districts of Herzberg and Finsterwalde in the district of Elbe-Elster in the course of the district reform in Brandenburg in December 1993 , Kroker became the district administrator of the newly created district in 1994 as a Christian Democratic candidate with 13 votes ahead of the second-placed Klaus Richter from the SPD Elbe-Elster elected. Kroker held this position until February 2002. From April 2004 to August 2006 he held the office of First Alderman in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district .
