Walter Paetzmann

Walter Paetzmann (born April 22, 1943 in Munich ; † December 14, 1995 ) was a German local politician ( SPD ).

Career

Walter Paetzmann first completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith . He obtained his university entrance qualification via the Telekolleg and began studying at the Munich University of Applied Sciences , which he completed with a diploma.

He was a member of the state board of the social democratic community for local politics in Bavaria and state manager organization of the Bavarian SPD .

As the successor to Engelbert Kupka (CSU), Paetzmann was elected First Mayor of Unterhaching in the spring of 1990 .
He died six months before the end of his term in office at the age of 52.

Honors

Unterhaching was Walter Paetzmann Street and in the community Adeje on Tenerife , the one to which the community maintains friendly relations Unterhaching Avenida del Alcalde Walter Paetzmann named after him. The AWO - creche in St. Alto Street in Unterhaching also bears the name Walter Paetzmann house .
