Walter Pauly (District Administrator)

Walter Pauly (born September 1, 1871 in Cologne , † October 16, 1959 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

Pauly came from the Lower Rhine and studied law at the University of Bonn and the University of Munich . He was a member of the Corps Teutonia Bonn (1890) and the Corps Makaria Munich (1892). After the assessor exam he entered the Prussian civil service. From January 1907 to 1915 he was district administrator of the Allenstein district with one interruption when he worked for the Prussian settlement commission in Posen . He then worked in the Prussian Ministry of Public Works in Berlin . Most recently (before 1930) he was a lecturer and ministerial councilor . He was characterized go. Upper Government Council .
