Walther Busse from Colbe
Walther Busse von Colbe (born February 17, 1928 in Gliwice ) is a German economist and university professor . He is particularly known in the areas of general business theory, group accounting and company valuation.
Life
Walther Busse von Colbe studied economics in Mainz, received his doctorate there and qualified as a professor at Cologne University in 1962 . From 1965 until his retirement in 1993 he held a chair for business administration at the Ruhr University in Bochum .
Since his retirement in 1993, Walther Busse von Colbe has continued to research and in recent years has mainly published articles about the internationalization of German group accounting and the determination of charges in the telecommunications and energy sectors .
He contributes to numerous legal commentaries on his research areas. His books on business theory and corporate financial statements are standard works at many German universities.
