Walther Haffner

Walther Haffner (* 1925 in Altdorf near Nuremberg ; † April 10, 2002 in Wassertrüdingen am Hesselberg ) was a German church musician .

After training as an organ builder , Haffner studied church music at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart . In 1957 he became district cantor in Wunsiedel . In 1976 he was appointed cantor of the Rummelsberg institutes . He worked as an organ expert. For his achievements he was awarded the title of church music director .
