Walther Plouda

Jacob Bernhard Johannes Walther Plouda (born August 14, 1877 in Liegnitz ; † May 6, 1954 in Jena ) was a German politician ( DVP ). From 1924 to 1927 he was a member of the Thuringian state parliament .

Life

Plouda attended the city's Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Liegnitz and then completed a commercial apprenticeship with a degree from the commercial school. He then worked as an accountant, traveling salesman and branch manager in Wroclaw , Liegnitz, Zeitz and Stettin . In 1899 he got a job at the Carl Zeiss company in Jena, where he worked in the 1920s as a department head and most recently as an administrative clerk in the company's library. As a member of the DHV belonged to the works council. He retired in September 1942.

Plouda joined the German People's Party (DVP) and was a member of the Jena City Council from 1922. In February 1924 he was elected to the Thuringian Landtag on the list of the Ordnungsbund , of which he was a member until 1927.

Walther Plouda was married twice, most recently to Herta Anna Maria (nee Senf, 1904–1967), whom he married in 1952 in Jena.
