Wapelergroden

Wapelergroden is a peasantry the community Jade in Wesermarsch .

history

The Alt-Wapeler Groden was built in 1634 after the dike was dyed on the southern Jade Bay . In 1732/33 it was settled and diked. In 1822 the Neu-Wapeler Groden was settled. In 1914 the settlements of Alt-Wapelergroden and Neu-Wapelergroden with Neuenkrug were spun off from the Jaderaltendeich farmers and combined under Wapelergroden. Wapelersiel is located west of Wapelergroden .
