The Warduj is a right tributary of the Koktscha in the Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan .

The Warduj rises on the eastern flank of the glaciated mountain Kuh-e Bandaka in the Hindu Kush . It flows in an east-northeast direction to Zebak . There he turns to the west and breaks through a mountain range of the Hindu Kush. Shortly afterwards the Warduj turns north again. In the lower reaches, it flows through a wider river valley before flowing into the Koktscha on the right near Baharak . The Warduj has a length of 140 km. It drains an area of ​​around 4485 km².
