Warren Lockhart

Warren Lockhart (born October 20, 1940 in Los Angeles , California , † January 19, 2012 in Culver City , California) was an American film producer .

Career

Warren Lockhart received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley . In the 1960s, Lockhart worked for United Airlines Marketing Department. Warren Lockharts began working on the film staff in 1972. Since 1973 he has also appeared as an executive producer , including for the television films You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (1973), The Borrowers (1973) for which he received a nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards and a documentary film for the anniversary of the character Charlie Brown under the title Happy Anniversary, Charlie Brown and was responsible for their production. Received a Daytime Emmy Award for Happy Anniversary, Charlie Brown . For his participation in the documentary Who Are the DeBolts? And Where Did They Get Nineteen Kids? by director John Korty , he received an Oscar in the category " best documentary " at the 1978 Academy Awards .

In the cartoon Mouse and Son , which was Lockhart's last involvement as a producer on a film, Peter Ustinov , Cloris Leachman and Sally Kellerman gave the characters their voices. His last involvement in a film was as a screenwriter for the short television film Snoopy: The Musical before retiring from the film business.

Private

Warren Lockhart was married and had three children, two daughters and one son.
