Warsenal is a Canadian speed and thrash metal band from Joliette that was founded in 2011.
history
The band was founded in 2011, after which a first demo was released in February 2011 , which contains three songs. In May the group started their first gigs and played with bands like Annihilator , Razor , Raven , Grim Reaper , Satan , Skeletonwitch , Havok and 3 Inches of Blood . In February 2013, the band was in Japan Osaka on the True Thrash hard to see. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 the band toured Canada once. In 2014 she also took part in the Calgary Metalfest . In September 2015, the debut album Barn Burner was released via Punishment 18 Records . In February and March 2016 they went on tour through Mexico . The band also performed twice with Enforcer .

SamiiMittelstaedt from metal-temple.com wrote in his review of the album that the biggest influence for the band Megadeth is what you hear especially in the vocals. The song Dying on Stage is typical speed and thrash metal with generic lyrics and has an influence from Megadeth's Holy Wars ... The Punishment Due . The following Let Me Out sounds immature, while Hit 'n' Run sounds like a demo version of Metallica with a teenage singer who loves Dave Mustaine . Conquer is a continuation of Hit 'n' Run with a quick solo . Stab You One by One has impressionistic riffs and cadences , but the production makes it sound "dirty". Unstoppable is similar to the previous songs and has a chorus where all band members would shout together, while Wars is a perfect example of how not to play speed and thrash metal. The last two songs would have fast riffs and aggressive vocals and would be reminiscent of Kill 'Em All . Matt Reifschneider of metal-observer.com stated that the group plays on the album thrash metal, which is based on the 1980s. The band tries too much to imitate the old sound, which makes the material sound too raw and chaotic. The speed is almost consistently high, while the vocals sound aggressive.
