Varvara Alexandrovna Popova
Varvara Alexandrovna Popova ( Russian Варвара Александровна Попова * 17th December 1899 in Samara , Russian Empire ; † 31 October 1988 in Moscow , RSFSR ) was a Soviet theater - and film - Actress .
Life and accomplishments
Popowa played at the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow from 1921 to 1956 . During this time she stood up for her colleague Boris Sachawa , who was exposed to several intrigues.
