The Wasenhorn ( 3246 m above sea level - in Italian Punta Terrarossa ) is a mountain in the Monte Leone-Sankt Gotthard Alps in the Lepontine Alps . It is located on the borderline between the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in Italy and the canton of Valais in Switzerland .
You can climb the Wasenhorn from the Simplonhospiz to the west via the Monte Leone hut .
