Washington Aguerre , full name Washington Omar Aguerre Lima , (born April 23, 1993 in Artigas ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

1.87 meter tall goalkeeper Aguerre joined Club Atlético Peñarol at the age of 18 . Since the Apertura and Clausura 2011/12 he has been in the first division squad for the "Aurinegros", but did not make a first division appearance either in that season or in the two following seasons. On August 31, 2014, he made his debut in the 2-0 victory at the Estadio Centenario over Tacuarembó FC under coach Jorge Fossati in the Primera División . In the 2014/15 season he played two games in the top Uruguayan league. At the end of August 2015, he was loaned to the second division Miramar Misiones . There he was not used in any competitive game in the 2015/16 season. After returning to Peñarol, he was loaned out again in early August 2016. This time the receiving club was Cerro Largo FC , for whom he played twelve league games in the 2016 second division season. In January 2017, the first division club Plaza Colonia signed him on loan.

National team

Aguerre made his debut on June 13, 2013 under coach Juan Verzeri in the friendly international match against El Salvador in the Uruguayan U-20 national team . He was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the U-20 South American Championship 2013 in Peru . In July 2013 he was then runner-up with Uruguay at the U-20 World Cup 2013 in Turkey . So far (as of July 5, 2013) he played an international match in this age group.
