The house at Wassertorstraße 20 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
location
The building is located on the south side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district . It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the east is the also listed building on Wassertorstrasse 19 and to the west by building on Wassertorstrasse 21 .
Architecture and history
The very small building, which is significantly lower in relation to the adjacent development, dates from the middle of the 19th century. Possibly it goes back in its core to an older half-timbered house . Today's facade is a massive construction. On the back of the two-storey building there are several terraces and a sloping garden that slopes down towards the Mühlgraben further south .
