The house at Wassertorstraße 8 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located on the south side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district at the confluence of the street Schloßberg in the Wassertorstraße, which turns to the southeast. It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building, which is also listed, adjoins Wassertorstrasse 9 to the west.
Architecture and history
The facade of the two-storey half-timbered house , which was built around 1700, follows the bend in the Wassertorstraße. An already tower-like bay window emerges from the center of the facade into the street space. Profiled filler wood and pyramid beam heads are used as decorations .
