Water tower (Sélestat)
The water tower in Schlettstadt , a French city in the Bas-Rhin in the region Alsace , was built in 1906/07. The water tower on the Place du Général de Gaulle has been classified as a Monument historique since 1992 .

The 48 meter high water tower has a capacity of 500 cubic meters. It was built under the direction of the engineer Behr, an official of the land improvement office . The water tower built in Deventer ( Netherlands ) in 1893 served as a model .
The building is reminiscent of a beffroi in the neo-Romanesque style . The yellow brick tower is closed by a conical roof.
