The Watts River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Victoria and a tributary of the Yarra River .

It has its source in Yarra Ranges National Park on the slopes of Mount Vinegar and flows northwest to the small town of Fernshaw . Then it turns its course to the southwest and flows through the Maroondah Reservoir . It leaves the national park, flows through Healesville and west of the city into the Yarra River.
