Waywash
Waywash ( Quechua I for "weasel" and a mountain range in the Peruvian department of Ancash , Spanish Cordillera Huayhuash ), Central Quechua or Quechua I is the linguistic name (after Alfredo Torero ) for one of the two main branches of the Quechua language family with approx. 2– 3 million speakers in central Peru (departments of Ancash, Huánuco , Junín , Pasco , Lima and some provinces of Huancavelica ). The Waywash includes the Ancash Quechua , the Wanka Quechua , the Yaru Quechua and the Huánuco Quechua (AP-AM-AH).
