The St. Georg Way Chapel is a way chapel in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Oberhaching in the Munich district . It is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.

location

The Wegkapelle is located in the Oberhachingen district of Kreuzpullach outside of the village, about 300 meters northwest of the village center on the road that leads through the Gleißental to Ödenpullach .

description

The chapel dates from the second quarter of the 19th century. It has an approximately square floor plan and has a gable roof . A massive back wall with a niche closed by a wrought iron grille is preceded by an open portico with round arches , which rests on two massive pillars . The rear wall and pillars rest on stone plinths and are horizontally divided by a cornice below the arches . Above the arch on the gable end of a round-arched sitting pop-up window with the inscription "St. Georg ". In the wall niche there is a picture of St. George .
