The term Weiter Graben denotes a collection of spring branches of the Wittgendorfer water and the associated valley valleys. It is assumed that these landforms were created by Pleistocene meltwater. Today the valleys are not flowed through at all or only by rivulets. Along these ditches there are mainly wet and marsh meadows with some afforested poplars .
