Wellington de Queiroz Vieira

Wellington de Queiroz Vieira (born July 11, 1968 in Tocantinópolis , Tocantins , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Cristalândia .

Life

Wellington de Queiroz Vieira received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Tocantinópolis on December 8, 1996 .

On November 16, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Prelate of Cristalândia. The Archbishop of Palmas , Pedro Brito Guimarães , donated him episcopal ordination on February 4th of the following year . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tocantinópolis, Giovane Pereira de Melo , and the Bishop of Oliveira , Miguel Ângelo Freitas Ribeiro .

With the elevation of the territorial prelature to the diocese of Cristalândia , Pope Francis appointed him its first diocesan bishop .
