Welyki Komjaty ( Ukrainian Великі Ком'яти ; Russian Великиӣ Комяты Veliki Komjaty , Slovak Veľké Komňaty, Veľké Komjaty , Hungarian Magyarkomját ) is a village in the Ukrainian Transcarpathian Oblast with about 6700 inhabitants.
The village, first mentioned in 1345, shares the history of Carpathian Ukraine . Velyki Komjaty is located on the banks of the Borschawa and is the only village in the district council of the same name in Vynohradiv district . The T-07-19 territorial road runs through the village , via which the Wynohradiv district center can be reached after 1 km in a southerly direction.
