Welykozk ( Ukrainian Великоцьк ; Russian Великоцк Velikozk ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 1500 inhabitants (2001).
The early 17th century, founded the village of the administrative center of the same name, 210.75 km² District Municipality in the east of Rajon milove to which even the villages Schurawske ( Журавське , ⊙ ) with about 300 inhabitants, Krynytschne ( Криничне , ⊙ ) with about 50 inhabitants, Jarske ( Ярське , ⊙ ) with about 70 inhabitants and Jasnoprominske ( Яснопромінське , ⊙ ) with about 20 inhabitants and the easternmost village in Ukraine, Rannja Zorya with about 100 inhabitants.
The village is located near the Russian-Ukrainian border and the Strilziwskyj steppe ( Стрільцівський степу ) on the bank of the Milowa ( Мілова ), a 28 km long, left tributary of the 95 km long Komyshna ( Комишна ).
The regional road P-07 runs through the village , via which the district center of Milowe is reached after 10 km in a north-easterly direction. The Luhansk Oblast Center, which is under the control of the internationally unrecognized People's Republic of Lugansk, is about 130 km south of the village.
