The Wennebek is a river in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in the German state Schleswig-Holstein . The river has a length of approx. 3 km, has its origin as an outflow from the Borgdorfer See near Borgdorf-Seedorf and flows south of Langwedel into the Brahmsee .

The Wennebeker Moor and Wennebekniederung nature reserve , which is characterized by various landscape elements, is located in its lowlands . In addition to the wet meadows and sedge swamps along the river, these are dry grass and heather on the adjacent ridges and the Wennebeker Moor.
