Concrete-constructive work o. T. Gouache (1973)

Bauer began his artistic career towards the end of the 1960s. Since 1968 he has been creating works in the specific area, initially with white, then colored serial wooden parts. At that time he was mainly interested in light, movement and material structures in his own experience environment; he dealt with the interplay of form and light in concrete objects , mostly made of wood. In later creative phases he occupied himself more and more with new materials such as plexiglass, acrylic paints, silicone or light foils.
