Werner Kropp

Werner Kropp (born May 17, 1899 in Leipzig ; † March 21, 1946 in special camp No. 2 Buchenwald ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader.

Live and act

After attending the citizens 'school in Leipzig, Kropp was taught at the booksellers' college in the same city. From 1913 to 1917 he was trained as a retail bookseller. In the years 1922 to 1930 Kropp earned his living as a sales representative.

Kropp has been politically active in the nationalist movement since 1920 . While the NSDAP was banned, Kropp was a member of the Frontbann and the National Socialist Freedom Movement (NSFB). After the re-establishment of the NSDAP in 1925, Kropp rejoined it on April 1, 1925. Kropp was a full-time district propaganda leader in the party in 1931.

Since January 1, 1933, Kropp belonged to the city council of Leipzig. He resigned his mandate for this corporation on November 1, 1934 because he was transferred to the Gauleitung in Dresden .

In December 1934, Kropp entered the National Socialist Reichstag as a replacement for the resigned MP Friedrich Bolte , in which he represented constituency 16 (Südhannover-Braunschweig) until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945.

Since the end of 1934, Kropp worked for main service manager Rudolf Schmeer in the organizational management of the Nazi party rallies. On January 30, 1936, he was also appointed Reichsamtsleiter.

As a member of the SA , Kropp achieved at least the rank of SA standard leader . On April 20, 1944, he became SA Brigade Leader .
