Werner Last Jr.

Werner Last Jr. (* 1954 in New York City ) is a German musician and orchestra conductor.

Life

Werner Last, son of Hjördis Harlow, an American of Norwegian origin and the orchestra director and producer, arranger and composer Kai Warner (real name Werner Last), is the nephew of the well-known drummer Robert Last and the band leader and composer, arranger and music producer James Last .

Werner Last Jr. is also active as a band leader. His “Last Ballroom Orchester”, with which he led a five-hour dance orchestra competition (Big Band Battle) against the RIAS Big Band in 2006 in the Palais am Funkturm and performed at the ZDF Summer Meeting in 2007 , is celebrating considerable success. Last performed with his orchestra for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

For Udo Lindenberg's Odyssey (1983) he wrote the title Heyooh Guru. On this album one of Lindenberg's most famous successes was the special train to Pankow .

Werner Last arranged 19 tracks for the 180-minute dance class show Come Dancing (2007, director: Michael F. Huse ), which he performed during Markus Schöffl's show and dance class with his big band.

Werner Last lives in Los Angeles and Berlin.
