Werner Perathoner (born September 21, 1967 in Brixen ) is a former Italian ski racer . The South Tyrolean achieved a total of two World Cup victories in his career.

The Perathoner, who grew up in Selva , surprisingly achieved his first podium in the Ski World Cup in 1988 in the downhill from Leukerbad , when he finished 3rd. This was followed by many injuries, so that he only found connection in the World Cup in winter 1992/93. At the end of the season he finished two second places in the downhill runs from Lillehammer in 24 hours. Perathoner equalized these results in the Super-G in Lech in December 1993.

In the Super-G of Lillehammer in March 1995 he won his first World Cup race, which he confirmed in the following season in the Super-G of Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He reached his last podium in March 1998 on his "favorite track" in Lillehammer. There he reached a second place in the downhill.

He won no medals at major events: He was fifth in the Super-G at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and seventh in the downhill at the 1996 World Ski Championships in the Sierra Nevada . From 1993 to 1996 he was Italian champion in super-G four times in a row . At the end of the 1997/98 season, Perathoner resigned.
