Werner Röwekamp

Werner Röwekamp (born October 30, 1928 in Rostock ; † April 3, 1982 in Kleinmachnow ) was a German actor , writer and director . He became known to a wide audience through films by DEFA and German TV broadcasting company .

After the Second World War, lessons at the drama school and the Rostock Conservatory, debut there, then Neustrelitz and Potsdam , cabaret Distel , finally permanent director at the DFF. Röwekamp also worked as an actor in film and television. At the DFF he staged numerous episodes of the TV series Polizeiruf 110 and The Public Prosecutor has the floor . He was married to the actress Traute Sense until his death in 1982 .
