Werner Rosenberg (politician)

Werner Rosenberg (born December 13, 1914 in Berlin ; † after 1974) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed training for the senior service in the Reich Labor Service . From 1939 to 1945 Rosenberg was in the Wehrmacht . After working as a farm worker, he was union secretary at the horticulture, agriculture and forestry union in Hann. Münden . He then worked for various employers as a commercial clerk and most recently as managing director of a hospital. He was married and had one child.

He was a member of the district council of the Moers district from October 15, 1964 until the regional reform on December 31, 1974, and of the Rheinhausen city council from 1952 to 1974.

From 1964 to 1969 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the regional association Westphalia-Lippe .

On October 17, 1973 Rosenberg was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class. On October 16, 1964, he received the Rheinhausen City Ring of Honor.
