Leopold Wilhelm Werner von der Schulenburg (born August 2, 1841 in Salzwedel , † September 28, 1913 there ) was a Prussian district administrator and politician.

family

Schulenburg came from the Altmark noble family von der Schulenburg, first mentioned in a document in 1237 . He was the son of the Prussian district administrator and state director of Altmark Wilhelm von der Schulenburg (1806-1883), founder of the Fideikommiss Beetzendorf and Provoste Salzwedel and hereditary kitchen master of the Kurmark Brandenburg, and his second wife Klara von Lattorff (1819-1890).

Schulenburg married on April 15, 1879 in Berlin Elise von Wuthenau (born August 1, 1856 on Gut Groß-Paschleben , district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld ; † September 4, 1941 on Gut Beetzendorf), the daughter of the landlord Fedor von Wuthenau, landlord on Groß -Paschleben, and Luise von Kotze (Groß-Germersleben house). Life

Schulenburg was Fideikommissherr on Beetzendorf and Probstey Salzwedel and hereditary kitchen master of the Kurmark Brandenburg. He was a royal Prussian major and from (1880) 1881 to 1912 district administrator of the Salzwedel district , legal knight of the Order of St. John and member of the Prussian manor house . From 1882 to 1890 he was a member of the Saxon Provincial Parliament.
