Weslau Werschner
Weslau Werschner (born March 29, 1940 - February 28, 2010 in Dresden ) was a German operetta singer (tenor).
Life
Werschner initially worked at the Volkstheater Halberstadt and at the Magdeburg Municipal Theaters . In 1976 he moved to Dresden, where he received an engagement at the State Operetta. Together with his wife, the singer Ulrike Buhlmann, the tenor soon became one of the audience's favorites and was one of the busiest singers at the State Operetta. Werschner was on stage as a soloist until 1999 and died in 2010 after a serious illness. He found his final resting place in the Striesen cemetery .
