Robert Müller Fair Play Trophy
The Robert Müller Fair Play Trophy ( WestLB Fair Play Trophy until 2009 ) is an ice hockey award that has been awarded annually since 2007 by the German Ice Hockey League and WestLB to the fairest team in a DEL season. Since the beginning of the 2009/10 season , she has been named in memory of the deceased national goalkeeper Robert Müller . The award is linked to a bonus of 10,000 euros, which the respective winner should use for their work with young talent.

In order to choose the fairest team of the season, the average penalty minutes of the clubs are converted into points during the season. Every game ban that is issued by the league company against a player is assessed with an additional point and added to the average penalty minutes. Automatic bans after a game misconduct penalty or the third misconduct penalty do not result in any additional points. The club that has the fewest penalty points at the end of the season receives the Robert Müller Fair Play Trophy.
