Whats'On

Whats'On (also WHATS'On ) is a professional planning package for broadcasters from the Belgian company MediaGeniX.

The software package was originally developed in 1992 for the Vlaamse Televisie Maatschappij as a planning system for linear television. In 1999 the system was expanded to include the option of planning for radio stations. In the latest version (20) it is also possible to manage video-on-demand , streaming video, podcasting and themed channels.

The planning system is used by public broadcasters, including Westdeutscher Rundfunk , Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep , Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française , Nederlandse Publieke Omroep , NRK , as well as by commercial broadcasters such as TV 2 (Denmark) , TVN and one Series of channels of the SBS Broadcasting Group , including VT4 , VIJF tv , Prima TV (Romania) and Kanal 4 (Denmark) .

In total, more than 100 channels are managed with Whats'On.
