Kanal 4 is a Danish-speaking private television broadcaster. It went on air in May 2006. The broadcast is from Great Britain . In addition to Kanal 4, Discovery Inc. also operates the channels Kanal 5 , Canal 9 and, since January 2007, SBS Net, which was renamed 6'eren in January 2009 .
The broadcaster's program offering is geared towards a female audience and includes mostly American daily soaps , series, films, talk shows and documentaries.
