HGTV (the abbreviation stands for Home & Garden TV ) is an American cable TV station. Reality TV formats and information programs are broadcast. Since 2018, HGTV has been part of Discovery Inc. , which also includes the Discovery Channel , Animal Planet , DMAX , SCI, TLC and Eurosport . The station originally belonged to Scripps Networks Interactive.

HGTV operates internationally. In addition to the parent station in the United States of America, HGTV is also available in Canada, Poland , New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Latin America, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Myanmar and, since June 6, 2019, also in Germany .
