The White Lyne is a watercourse in Cumbria , England . It arises north of the Sighty Crag . It first flows west and turns south at the mouth of The Gill . South of the hamlet of Kirkbeckstown , it turns again in a westerly direction and flows so until it forms the River Lyne when it meets the Black Lyne .
