Pascal Caucheteux
Pascal Caucheteux (* 1961 in France ) is a French film producer .
Life
Pascal Caucheteux founded the production company Why Not Productions in 1990 together with Grégoire Solat . With it they mainly produce independent films and thus offer directors of the auteur film funding. Caucheteux allows the filmmakers the greatest possible freedom and sometimes takes on the financial risks.
For his work Caucheteux received the Étoile d'Or three times (2006, 2010 and 2011) and twice the “Prix Daniel Toscan du Plantier” (2009, 2010) in the producer category . The films produced with Why Not Productions have received several invitations to A- film festivals and have won several awards, most recently at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival with the Golden Palm for Demons and Miracles (Dheepan) .
